AHHHHH!!!!! If I see this sticker one more time....
Edited on Fri Sep-24-04 06:22 AM by Catch22Dem

If I see this fucking thing one more time on the back of some SUV I'm gonna lose my lunch right on my dash board! I live in repuke infested Okla. and they're everywhere, but they're NEVER on an actual car, it's always some gas hoggin' SUV! Why can't these people just be satisfied with the size of their dicks?

14. Big SUV = Small Tits?
Most of the SUVs I see are driven by women, so dicks don't seem to have a lot to do with it.

6. Same thing here in Atlanta.
In Atlanta proper, Kerry stickers outnumber Bush stickers by far. The majority of the Bush stickers I see are on those monsters. Never a car.

30. In Minnesota
In my daily commute between the western edge of Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul, I've seen very few of those W stickers. Daily, I see at least a dozen K/E and a few more anti-Bush (or even Wellstone) stickers. And this is supposed to be a "swing state" this year!

On an interesting note, most of the Ws I've seen have been on SUVs. However, I did see a W on two cars-- both of them were Mercedes.

Go figure.

34. I drive about 200 miles a day for my job . . .
in the metro area - primarily Mpls. and western suburbs. My informal bumper poll has K/E stickers outnumbering shrubco stickers 5 to 1.

*However*, in the last few weeks, mass quantities of Smirk signs have gone up all over the west metro (esp. Eden Prarie, Minnetonka, Wayzata).

If you live in the Mpls/ St. Paul metro area, it's easy to become complacent because we're a DFL stronghold (for the most part, anyway)and it's hard to get a finger on the pulse of the whole state. Outstate MN runs a big red circle around us, unfortunately.

43. True, that
It seems that everything west of Alexandria or Mankato is solid GOP, but there are some pockets of resistance, so to speak.

However, one thing that has suprised me lately is the number of K/E lawnsigns I'm seeing in some of the 2nd- and 3rd-tier burbs. These are places where I'd never see Clinton or Gore signs, but where K/E signs are equal to or more than B/C signs.

MN usually goes blue because of the Mpls/St. Paul vote, the inner MSP burbs, and the NE corner of the state. There's parts in the NE where there's only one party (DFL), and the DFL primary is the de facto general election.

Either way, I wouldn't be suprised if we see a lot of crossover this year. I've even heard that ex-Governor Arne Carlson is in Kerry's camp. Take that, Randy Kelly (traitorous DINO mayor of St Paul)!

10. Nearly every morning here in Mass., I see a beat up old
Dodge Neon, it's one of the first ones that came out, so probably a '93 or '94 or somewhere around there. This thing is completely beat to shit, paint flaking off, rust all over.

The idiot driving it is obviously not very well off (based on having seen the guy getting in and out of the car occasionally at Dunkin' Donuts, etc.). But, emblazoned on his rear window are two of those stickers and on the bumper are two Bush/Cheny '04 stickers.

Yet another chump who votes against his own interests apparently.

26. I'll never judge someone who drives a Forrester-class SUV
My ol' lady has one. It gets 25 MPG or so. It's also really good in snow. We live in upstate NY. Way upstate. People don't buy Subaru Forresters as status symbols. They buy them to get around; that's why you see lots of them around here.

Not quite the mpg of a Forester, but a VERY nice vehicle (which surprised me, I'm generally a Toyota fan)

But, I got so sick of sliding around in my Corolla every time it rained. It's also good on snow.

13. The one I've started seeing on every SUV is
the square black one with "W" and under that "The President".

I think they leafleted with the damn things. I call it "The mark of the beast".

I've been thinking that I wish I had some stickers that could be stuck on right beside the black ones that say "because I need another big tax break." I would love to stick that on a few Hummers and Escalades.

25. Happened to my bumper sticker here in SoCal, too....
And I used it for campaign fuel. Wrote LTTE's to all the local papers citing this as evidence of the "petty and juvenile" nature of the harder-core Bush supporters, and ended with a plea to "all sane, moderate Republicans" to wake up and see what dissent-crushing fanatics they've allied themselves with, and to come over to the "Light Side"!

Already received supportive LTTE's in some of those papers stating they'd do just what I suggested!

If we handle stuff like this properly, we can turn it around on the SOB's!

22. So here's a sticker for us:

OTB

(One Term Bush)

Wish I could take credit for it, but the rethugs used that in NJ years and years ago in reference to then-Gov. Brendan Byrne, hoping he would be a one-termer. OTB is also an acronym fo off-track betting which was a big deal in NYC at the time. Byrne, a Democrat won despite the OTB sticker,

but somehow I think OTB would work for us -- using a very old rethug campaign term against them.

Anyone have the means to make up little oval OTB stickers?

45. I think it used to be a legal requirement
The originals said "D" (Deutschland), "GB" (Great Britain) etc. I think they were little metal plates, not stickers, originally, and you were supposed to show one when you drove around Europe. European number plates are not instantly recognizable the way our state license plates are, or at least in the 80s they weren't.

Yuppies who traveled to Europe in the 80s tthought it was tres chic to put "D" plates on their Beemers, "S" plates on their Saabs, "GB" plates on their Jags, etc. Most people didn't know what it meant and it became a fad because it seemed like a rich people's secret code.
