"Elect Kerry for another Sept. 11"
Yes, yet another wingnut spewing RNC talking points in the local rag. Below is the link to the article, and a sample of his nonsense. Please use the "voice your opinion" link to give him what for. Please note: I DID NOT WRITE THE TWO PARAGRAPHS BELOW. </Disclaimer>

Phifer does not mention Kerry’s war record, probably with good reason. There is enough doubt to negate both his Vietnam supposed heroics as well as Bush’s National Guard service. Was Bush privileged? Certainly he was. Was Kerry? All I can say to this is that I have two brothers who served in Vietnam and their tours of duty certainly exceeded four months. I am sure it makes them sick seeing the tapes of Kerry throwing away his medals and betraying his fellow service men and women. I am pretty sure I know why he threw them away. He did not earn them. Why didn’t the Democrats bring up the service record of Clinton? He was an unabashed draft dodger and they loved him. Another twist in the democrats’ flip-flop ideology.

I truly believe that the terrorists are frothing at the bit to get Kerry elected. They know he is a weakling. In these trying times, we need someone who is not afraid to kick butt. I hope that all those liberal actors and musicians do not have to experience Sept. 11, 2001, in their hometowns. However, if Kerry is elected we can bet on it.

The WHOLE THING. And he won't need an NSA to read them to him, either.

2. Bush the Uniter
United all terrorists against us. Formerly the Sadaam followers and the Osama followers were at odds, but now, they are brought together by their hatred of us. Awww...

3. Tell that stupid piece of shit that a great many of this country's liberal
musicians and actors DID experience September 11 in their hometown. I so fucking hate these stupid bumpkin fucks. NO TERRORIST IS GOING TO ATTACK YOUR COMMUNITY BECAUSE IT IS SO UTTERLY MEANINGLESS - you piece of garbage.

5. NYC is home to thousands of liberal
actors and musicians, so they already experienced it (to author of piece, not you bbernardini).

The Republicans brought up Clinton's service record and called him a draft dodger. The difference was, he wasn't so eager to send kids to a war that will undoubtedly make life worse, not better, for their kin at home. THAT is why the service records are important.

These people are idiots.

6. Kerry did 2 TOD in Vietnam and didn't earn his medals
Bush stayed in the US, and earned his medals.
Heroes stay home and don't fight. Only cowards go to war.
How can you even argue with such idiocy? This is a person who is so far gone he doesn't even use the same definitions for words.

10. Mind if I toss in my usual rant?
The FACTS -- plain and simple -- show that Bush has played into the terrorists' hands at every turn:

1. Bush was told bin Laden was getting ready to hit America, but did nothing.

2. Bin Laden attacked us on our own soil, killing 3,000 people, and Bush failed to bring him to justice.

3. Bush had bin Laden cornered in Tora Bora, but let him walk away.

4. Bin Laden warned his followers that America was out to take over Arab states. Bush made the prediction come true.

5. Bin Laden wanted to splinter the West, pitting old allies against each other. Bush went right along with the plan.

6. Bin Laden boasted he would "cleanse the Islamic holy land of infidels." Bush complied by ordering US forces out of Saudi Arabia and urging Americans to flee the Saudi peninsula.

7. Bin Landen boasted he could bring down a superpower just like Russia in Afghanistan. Bush has us bogged down in Iraq, unable to get control despite all our military strength.

George W. Bush is the best thing that ever happened to Osama bin Laden. There's no question bin Laden benefits if Bush is re-elected: four more years of America playing into the terrorists' hands at every turn.

15. Keep posting this crap
I think we all need to read what these wingnuts say, plus they just shoot themselves in the foot every time they open their mouths and spew out vitriolic rhetoric. We need someone...'who is not afraid to kick butt.' Oh yeah, there is some good writing for you. These people are idiots and their comments prove it.

Kerry is much braver than this shrub. He fought in a war, had the courage to face the enemy then come back and have more courage to say that the war was wrong. Kerry knows how to fight and apply critical analysis. Shrub can do neither nor can the writer of the editorial.

18. Elect another Kerry-----?
The article that I read said in one place-"we need someone to kick butt" but we better be darned sure whose butt we are kicking. We also better know if its the right time to kick butt, and not run in with no planning for afterwards, like what is happening now. Heaven knows, I wish America wasent in this mess.
