Open Memo to the Kerry Campaign: Time for the Kerry Harley Tour
Edited on Fri Sep-24-04 08:33 AM by JCMach1
This is a quite serious proposition...

Take a good part of the next two weeks and do two Harley tours with Kerry.

1. Leave from Detroit, MI... Ohio, Pennsylvania, WV, Virginia, and NC...

2. Go West and leave from NM, hit the corner of AZ, then CO, NV, northern CA, OR, and WA ending in Seattle...

Plan rallies and speeches all along the way... have Kerry hookup with various supporters and veterans groups along the way to join the 'RIDE'...

Why do this? Image and publicity...

Think of the CONTRASTING image this presents to the American people in contrast to the paternalistic shrub...

He would be casting himself as 'the rebel', the 'outsider', and the 'underdog'...

Get the folks out in LA to do a 'Captain America' chopper for him and lets get it started!

Let's get him out of the 'pink ties' (did anyone see that! Yuck!) and get him into a leather jacket and watch what happens in the polls...

Would anyone else like to join the the Kerry 'Ride for America'?

Think of the visuals for such a tour!!! It would guarantee a Kerry victory!

1. I'd ride with him!
And so would a lot of other folk.

3. Two points...
1) I don't want Kerry touching a motorcycle between now and the election. He might "accidentally" get side-swiped by a Bush campaign bus. He can't win if he's dead.

Though, there was Carnahan. But, only Ashcroft could lose to a dead guy.

2) Like it or not, pink is "in". It's absolutely everywhere.

4. He must resist the evil draw of the pink tie... and he MUST NOT
I repeat MUST NOT wear one during the debates!

6. I'm sure he won't.
I'm sure he'll wear a power tie for the debates, i.e. red, red, and more red.

5. the pink tie looks nice on him
and based on how often he wears it , it's probably his favorite or he sees it as good luck.

7. I'd bet anything that Neil Diamond would do part of the trip with him.
He often does long distance rides with his friends.
