Yesss! crispini & I have identified our other rogue Kerry supporters!
at our place of employment!

Yesterday, I got tired of the mystery and put a little note on one car with my name & extension. He e-mailed me today and copied the other guy. 2 more rabid Democrats! A flurry of e-mails have been flying back and forth all morning with our excitement.

So now we're all planning our parking strategy to better take advantage of our growing numbers (5 and standing).

Woo hoo!

2. Thanks for the signature!
Is that documented?

I always thought he was saying "It's the killing machines that pay for rockets and guns...."

I love that song but he sings too freaking fast!

Why the secrecy?

6. Texas, man.
We're in the middle of the telecom corridor in Dallas. Most people here are diehard, rich or upwardly mobile, "I still have my job and my Lexus so why should I care about the poor?" types.

This is extremely heartening for all of us. I used to park on the other side of the building (closest to my office) until c. alerted me to the bunch of Kerry stickers on her side. So I've been walking all the way around.

It's either that, or looking at this one jerk's combo "Flush the Johns-Bush/Cheney" outer office advertising every day as I enter and leave. Screw that.

5. Shhhhhh!!
Set up a meeting place with them, and be sure to look inconspicuous.

7. Yes, we've gone from whispering to speaking out loud
here at my work. We're still very outnumbered, but we are becoming more confident. There is more discontent toward Bushco even here in the suburbs than people think.

FS - sorry I missed the meeting on Saturday. The wife got us a hotel room Friday night for my birthday. I'll stop right there.

8. You little rascal!
It was actually pretty funny.

We had a couple of new older guys this past week; 1 or 2 of whom were recovering Republicans (cool, huh?) At the end of the meeting one even went to go talk to Wally and get some names for canvassing! He wanted to jump right in; asked me questions all morning about all types of subjects. So I shared a lot of my flyers, cards, etc with him.

With each new guy that came in in glasses, I said "Are you James?" And these 2 guys were laughing their butts off at me; I had to explain to them the entire concept of talking lots on the internet and not meeting.

Once again, a great meeting. I'd say we had 45-50 people this time. Another small bunch of unfamiliar faces for me, plus most of the regulars. Yay!

Hope you had a great (ahem) birthday!
