1. Good news and by election it will be Kerry 48 and Bush 42

2. Time poll is full of crap
Most of the "real polls" show only a couple margin difference, with quite a few undecided

3. I agree
But if Kerry would go from being up 12 to now being up 6 even in this crappy poll CNN would be asking what happened.

4. They were pretty quick to announce the 12 number
a doubt they will be announcing the 6 so quick. If it's 6 then Kerry is ahead.

6. If Time-Saudi Arabia says Bunnypants* up by 6%
Then he is down by 4%.

One wonders if the Busheviks have finally, with the advent of electronic "voting", finally got it to where the voting system is equally rigged as the polls, unlike 2000 where the polls were more rigged than the voting.

7. Any incumbent under 50% in a two-way race is in trouble
No matter how the media whores try to make it look like Bush will win in a landslide.

8. "Inside Politics" just mentioned this...
Nothing big, but she mentioned that * was up 12 points just a few weeks ago.

Of course, she was quick to bring up some poll showing that 40-some percent of people expect * to win the debates, as opposed to Kerry's 30-some. (Sorry. Don't remember the exact numbers)

9. Haven't you heard? Bush has never lost a debate!
If JK can walk offstage under his own power, he'll have won!

11. Oops...
Right, right, right. Sorry.

*Ahem*

Bush's lingustic skills border on Godlike. Grown men have been known to spontaneously burst into tears at the power of his words. He once talked a suicidal jumper down off the ledge and convinced him to rush into a burning building to rescue a trapped puppy-dog instead. Reliable sources inside the Kerry campaign reveal that the mere mention of the word "debate" sends him curling into a fetal position and weeping uncontrollably.

Better?

12. I think * was successful in 2000 because
Gore was not himself. I think he was given bad advice. I think Kerry is already ahead in that game. The Senate teaches these skills.
Bring it on!

25. "Bush" and "debate" in the same sentence???
Isn't that redundant? I mean, doesn't "Bush" mean "debate" sort of like the way "Bach" and "musician" were synonymous in 18th century Germany?

;)

13. That's great news!
More people expect * to win the debates? Sweet.
Oh, of course, I expect * to win the debates too. Most rational people know Kerry ain't got a prayer.

21. That segment about how many people
expect Shrub to win the debates means the American people know the media will declare him the winner whether he really wins or not, just like in the 2000 debates between Gore and Bush.

People aren't fooled by the media tricks as much as I thought. You'd be surprised how much they really notice this stuff so this poll doesn't mean anything.

Anyway, maybe it's good that they think Dumbya will beat Kerry. It clearly puts the onus on Bush.

To have high expectations for Bush in the debates and low expectations for Kerry. Perfect!

10. Don't even give polls a thought.
They're as useless now as looking for a Maine license plate in California.

All of those who are still "undecided" are not going to have any value in the polls until after all three debates.

Do I need say more? Just Re-e-e--laaaxxxxxxx.

14. Why do people keep saying...
Gw has never lost a debate? He was lucky during the last election because Gore's side caved about the set-up. I don't think he came across well during the GOP primary season and he's not a great speaker when he doesn't have a script in front of him.

Even the guy who fertilized the egg he came from gave 142!

18. The idea is...
The media declared Bush the winner of the 2000 election because expectations were so low that his pathetic performance was still seen as defying low expectations. So we're talking up Bush's debate skills so that he can't claim the same advantage this time.

Probably not terribly effective, but it gives the opportunity to post some really funny stuff, like my post above.

I agree with my husband, all the people who wait to watch at home, it will make a difference. On Moore's site yesterday the troops were watching it and it made a big difference to them and they work for the guy. He is their ultimate Boss and they are waking up.

Just the fact McCain pointed him out at the Republican convention made Moore another $332,000 because of those who went and saw the movie.

26. It's even worse than that
Among LVs, he's dropped from 12 points up to 4 points up, according to http://www.pollingreport.com

The 48-42 is among RVs. It had been 10.
