Can You Hear It? The Cracking Sound? The Nation's Breaking for Kerry.
Poll by poll now reflect what is now becoming obvious: for the last two weeks, Senator John Kerry has been making consistent, steady headway with the American people.

They have seen that John Kerry just keeps soldiering on in spite of innuendo, in spite of the media echo chamber. He just keeps putting one foot in front of the other moving forward regardless of those that count him out and jeer him from the sidelines.

This authentic American hero has sucked it all in now. There's no turning back, no second-guessing, and no hesitation whatsoever in his heart. He knows that his place in history now lies just before him and he is focused solely on the task in front of him.

Friends, John F. Kerry knows deep within his soul that the sacred hopes of millions upon millions now depend on him. No one has to tell him. He knows that we have put our faith in him...and he will not let us down.

Give him cheer. Give him support. Give him your prayers. And stand with him now as never before as he fights the greatest battle of his life. Stand with this man.

3. I'm with you 100%.
I volunteered in our local dems office today. My first time. It was very interesting to see how many people came in all riled up about the way Bush is ruining our country. I just feel in my gut that Kerry will prevail on Nov.2. I especially believe that our troops and most veterans will vote for him contrary to what Bush might say and think. I met 2 Vietnam vets today--brothers--who said years ago they didn't like what Kerry said, but in retrospect they know that he did the right things. Older and wiser they say they are. I think many, many vets of that war will feel the same way.

5. One can hope. Kerry certainly has shown the spotlight of truth on Iraq
and has held his ground in refusing to stop talking about the war on terror and Iraq.
Bush is an absolutely flaming incompetent CinC and as Kerry continues to hammer away at him he will make gains.
It can't hurt Kerry to keep doing this.

Start volunteer work at the Kerry Headquarters in Cov KY tomorrow. Get this....my brother who has been a lifelong Republican is working for him in Walnut Hills (Cincinnati) tomorrow. My mother, who passed away over 10 years ago would be so proud of him! I am, too!

Woo Hoo! We're going to kick those bastards out on their asses!

29. Somewhat
Cincy is actually more conservative than No Ky. Covington & Newport have a lot of working class voters that can be convinced to vote for Kerry.

Thanks for the welcome! I don't know what I'd do without you guys. We've got to keep each other up when we get down with the crappy news shows. I can't wait until tomorrow to help Kerry. I'll be much better off than stewing here at home listening to this crap. I need to stay focused. We're going to win!

31. Yes...I hear it here in NC! Voter Registration going in huge pecents Dem
Edited on Fri Sep-24-04 07:58 PM by KoKo01
over Repug...Our Dem Canvassers out there recruiting folks. My hubby went to an Assisted Living Complex today and dropped off Voter Registration forms and offered to help drive folks to polls.

Believe it or not...lots of "oldies" in Nursing Homes and Assisted Livings are appalled at Bush...they remember WWII and Vietnam. My Mother in Law just died and if she hadn't she was voting for Kerry and as wife of a Navel Officer in WWII she thought Bush was ruining everything since Roosevelt and destabilizing the world!

Just remember the Polls are NOT counting NEW VOTERS and dislocated voters since 2000 who are registering Dem in huge numbers. And, if this is true in Fundie NC what must it be all over the US...BTW...my part of NC where Dem Registration is up..is still in the BOOM TIMES...BIG CITY...Research Triangle Park (Jewel of NC Investment)What must it be in rest of NC and US where job losses are so huge and hurrican devastation has wiped out everything for folks on the "edge" already? If we are going Dem big time...what is it like elsewhere?

There are some good things, but Kerry/Edwards can't slack off. They are getting the message tuned way late...they gotta run hard..and keep eye on the prize..but it's turning.

Forget Ohio...We NC'linians can come through!

32. Happened at 3pm on Wednesday, according
to my friend. I felt the plates shift below me sometime Tuesday. Our pollster at the Kerry Headquarters is slightly behind the curve...but I told him to keep an his data on alert and let me know when it starts reflecting it in New Mexico.

He's a stats kind of guy...but I'll let you know when he reports the shift. It is there.

So something must be in the water. Oh, yeah...it was a dream I had. I have a problem believing the nightmare can continue. This is a non-doom day. I just feel, oh I don't know, that underneath it all, there is a collective unconscious that knows this man is our only hope.
