What's your debate fantasy for September 30th? Just for fun.
Six foot four John Kerry walks across the room, and, looking very Lincolnesque, firmly shakes hands with the obviously shorter Bush.

Bush, looking very insecure, tries to make himself look taller, to no avail. Even the elevator shoes the Karen ordered for him just don't work.

Kerry's deep rich voice resonates through the room. Bush stammers, stutters and confuses Osama with Sadaam. Beads of sweat break out on his brow. He looks like he is facing an oncoming train.

Anybody care to add their two cents?

4. I hope there is a moment like President Ford had in '76
Edited on Fri Sep-24-04 04:35 PM by WI_DEM
when Ford said, "There is no Soviet domination of Eastern Europe and there never will be under a Ford administration."

The press caught on to that right away and the momentum Ford had stalled.

or Bush is caught on camera admiring Kerry's ass.

trips and does a header into it, knocking himself unconscious on national television.

10. The moderators actually ask Bush some tough questions and he
wets himself under the pressure.

Of course, the next day the media whores would probably be harping on how the press is unfair to poor Georgie and that his lack of bladder control just shows his humanity.

20 subtle things, looking at watch, noise of camera, stumbles, misquotes, and that lazy leaning on podium he does, smirks when he says deaths. Oh yeah and I want Kerry to pat him on the head at the end. And I hope they serve pretzels.

17. Haha

Wonder if he'd still eff it up?

That was about the most assinine thing Ive ever heard a politician say. The idiot doesn't know what sovereignty means and he's our freaking President.

Holy cow...

Since Kerry can't ask Dimson any questions I am sure the questions will be really engaging.

21. Better yet,
if they asked the sovereignty question and Bushkin wasn't going to fall for it again...and he does the "fool me once" thingy. That would be just as entertaining if not more.

18. Bush answers every question by speaking in tongues, with a manic wild-eyed
look on his face. The moderators pretend not to notice and continue with the questions and follow-ups. Kerry, growing concerned, suggests that the debate be postponed. The moderators ask why.

19. What I wish for
Is that Bush will start off with his smarmy cliches and Kerry will counter every single one of them with questions:

Bush: The Iraqis are a free people, we gave them democracy
Kerry: Then why haven't the elections in Iraq been held?

Bush: The Iraq war is going well
Kerry: Then why have more soldiers died after you declared Mission Accomplished

Bush: You are a flip flopper
Kerry: Didn't you say you would capture Osama then say "I don't care where he is?"

Bush: You are a meanie weanie
Kerry: I didn't fail to pursecute the people under me who outed a CIA agent or who abused Iraqi citizens, who is the meanie weanie now?
