Just in case anyone thinks he's not fighting.
Sept. 19: "Defend America"
JOHN KERRY: 200 billion dollars. That's what we're spending in Iraq because George Bush chose to go it alone. Now the President is telling us we don't have the resources to take care of health care and education here at home. As President, I'll stop at nothing to get the terrorists before they get us, but I'll also fight to build a stronger middle class. That's the difference in this election. I believe the next President must do both: defend America AND fight for the middle class. I'm John Kerry, and I approve this message.
Sept. 21: "Uninsured"
NARRATOR: The Bush health care record: health insurance up 64%. Medicare premiums up by 56%. The Bush health care plan: raise insurance premiums for 4 out of 5 small businesses. Over a million more Americans would lose their health insurance coverage. John Kerry: a plan to make health care available and affordable, and cut the cost for small businesses. John Kerry: a new direction on health care.
JOHN KERRY: I'm John Kerry, and I approve this message.
Sept. 22: "Juvenile"
NARRATOR: 1,000 US casualties. 2 Americans beheaded just this week. The Pentagon admits that terrorists are pourting into Iraq. In the face of the Iraq quagmire, George Bush's answer is to run a juvenile and tasteless attack ad. John Kerry has a plan for success. Get allies involved. Speed up the training of Iraqis. Take essential steps to get a free election next year. On Iraq, it's time for a new direction.
JOHN KERRY: I'm John Kerry, and I approve this message.
Sept. 23: "Different Story"
NARRATOR: George Bush keeps telling us things are getting better in Iraq. The facts tell a different story. Terrorists are pouring into the country. Attacks on US forces are increasing every month. 1,000 American soldiers have died. We need a fresh start to fix the mess in Iraq. The Kerry solution: Allies share the burden. Train Iraqis to protect themselves. Take the real steps needed to hold free elections. John Kerry: a new direction in Iraq.
JOHN KERRY: I'm John Kerry, and I approve this message.
Sept. 24: "Right Track"
GEORGE BUSH: I saw a poll that said, uh, uh, the right-wrong tra-- uh, the right-track-wrong-track was better than it is here.
NARRATOR: The right track? Americans are being kidnapped, held hostage, even beheaded. Over a thousand American soldiers have died. And George Bush has no plan to get us out of Iraq. John Kerry does. The Kerry solution: Allies share the burden. Train Iraqis to protect themselves. John Kerry: a new direction in Iraq.
JOHN KERRY: I'm John Kerry, and I approve this message.
