Twisting the Truth
E. J. Dionne Jr. washpost

"He says he's going to tax the rich," Bush said on Wednesday in King of Prussia, Pa. "Rich hire lawyers and accountants for a reason--to stick you with the bill. We're not going to let him tax you because we're going to win in November."

SO A PRESIDENT WHO SIGNED ALL KINDS OF PROVISIONS TO HELP WEALTHY TAXPAYERS TURNS AROUND, blames the lawyers and--presto!--Kerry, by implication and association, becomes a friend of the wealthy who want to raise your taxes."

This is an excellent article about how the media has given Chimp a free pass. Kerry will win in spite of them.

2. He ought to know something about sticking us with the bill.
And I'm sure he does not want to be taxed or have any of his rich friends and family taxed.

3. ignorant beyond belief
If a college freshman uttered that argument in 101 I would laugh him out of the class. Seriously. I'd say, "Go back to 099. The argument is not worthy of the college classroom."

4. But, he's not talking to a college classroom
He's talking to voters--most of whom aren't very bright. Sad to say, that kind of stupidity actually works on people.

5. Very good point
*SO A PRESIDENT WHO SIGNED ALL KINDS OF PROVISIONS TO HELP WEALTHY TAXPAYERS TURNS AROUND, blames the lawyers and--presto!--Kerry, by implication and association, becomes a friend of the wealthy who want to raise your taxes."

But the Freepers are either too stupid or too evil to really think about it. The Party should be excised as a cancer growing upon the free body politic of the
--OUR--
United States of America.

I hate to say this but IMO the beloved party of Abe Lincoln should be shut down. Sorry, but that's where I stand on them now - they are far beyond any help... or reason. They've gone far beyond any standards of decency, time and time and time again. They can no longer recognize what truth is beyond their fabrications and manipulations.

6. What they have gotten away with is astounding.
Abe Lincoln would be appalled.
