Is there conclusive evidence that Kerry is losing security moms?
Edited on Sat Sep-25-04 01:04 AM by dennis4868
I keep hearing over and over the whores saying that Kerry is losing the female vote because security moms feel that if Bush loses we will all die....hahaha.....the whores on TV usually prove their point by interviewing some mom who says she is a dem but voting for Bush because Bush is the only one that can protect us. Nevermind that 911 happened under Bush's watch and that silly little August 6 PDB (Bin Laden Determined to Attack in the United States)was ignored by Bush.

So what evidence is there that Bush is winning the so-called security moms vote? Is it one poll that has the media in a frenzy or are all the polls showing this as a fact?

1. Glass is half empty
I think the WSJ/NBC poll showed Kerry was tied with women. But Kerry seems to be doing better with men than Gore did. Why was that not the headline? Am I wrong in my understanding of the facts?

only female media who are rw and rw females - I am voting for him
they just want to make females feel like they are wrong if they vote for the good guys......it is a self esteem ploy

they know the women will vote independent of their husband and that scares them....all those southern women voting for kerry because they don't want their sons and daughters going into needless wars started by BushCo

...otherwise I will lose yet another small bit of hope that Americans have an ounce of sense swimming around in their skulls stuffed full of marketing and commodity fetishism.

Americans: The most easily manipulated herd of cows ever to have been rounded up on a single continent.

is what this is about. You'd have to hunt for many moons to find somebody who says they're a dem who's voting for *. It's internally-inconsistant. However, that being said, I actually know one of these bitches. I tell her to her face that regardless of her official party affiliation, she isn't a democrat, but a crypto-repubelickan.

PS: She carries a concealed weapon too; doesn't that fit?

11. I've heard this too and it's really stupid for 2 reasons
if you really wanted to keep kids safe, we would keep the assult weapons ban so that Columbine type events won't happen as easily. Second reason - Kerry isn't going to send your kids to get shot at in some Middle-Eastern hell-hole.

I know Kerry spoke today about security but what he needs to do it come out with a clear plan how to keep this country safe....I saw a news clip tonight how the security at airports are still not good, some 3 years after 911! Kerry has to attack Bush on this point. Kerry also has to let the moms out there know that Bush has allowed assault weapons to be oput back on the streets....Kerry has an opening here and the question is will he do something about it...I just do not know....i truly hope so....

30. Please.This is such media whore crap!
What women? Where? This is based on that stupid Naomi Whole article about the Bushies being sooo much more appealing with Stepford Laura than the Dems are with THK who is threatening! Yeah, right . The winner of the Albert Schweitzer Humanitarian Award, threatening. As for the NYT they have been quite the whore lately. Headline piece, "Kerry Campaign haunted by 1972 failure". They focus on Kerry's failed congressional race as some long time supporters, including his best friend and former brother in law ,are still with him today. Instead of praising their loyalty , they say this indicates repeat failure! And they don't say anything about the "failed Bush Campaign of 1972" Yes, indeedy. Bushie ran to same year and also lost. Why isn't his campaign "haunted" by specters of past failures?
No women who would vote for Kerry have been lost. This is in the say it often enough and it will be true category!

NO WAY Kerry is tied among women, or even behind with women. The polls have been badly skewed this time around.

33. Don't forget the men getting polled are white men.
There is now way that 40% of their respondants are minorities, and guess what they are not polling young people or poor people, so Bush doing that well with rich white guys makes sense.

Quit taking these polls remotely seriously, I heard that 80% of people polled do not believe political polls are accurate. Why do we obsess about them is what I want to know.

20. I saw that show. What crap.
"Security moms" versus what? Evil Knievel matrons?

On a serious note, it's just the recycled fear factor that we've been talking about with Bush. Yes, there were women out there that bought Bush's story that we had to attack Iraq before they attacked us. They didn't have the ability to understand why this was wrong nor understand why it was counter productive to their purpose of security because it would only foment more violence among terrorists. I'm watching the Pakistan president on CNN right now and he just said that Iraq has made the world more dangerous, not less. This seems like a simple concept so I don't understand why the "Security Moms" which seemed like affluent white women who get plenty of sleep despite the bouncing babies on their knees, can't grasp it. Or maybe they like what Bush is doing because the Iraq War is being fought in Iraq and not the U.S.? Never mind that we're creating a larger number of enemies and our borders are porous. By the time their six year olds get as old as my high school son, I'm sure they'll change their perspective -- but it will be too late by then.

32. They're also in that delusional group
Of the 20% of the population that THINKS they're in the top 2%. Therefore, they believe that little Chad or Brittney will be able to avoid the draft because after all, wars are to be fought by poor kids or dark skinned kids. They are sadly mistaken. There will be no college deferments this time.

35. Oh, even worse -- they think that by sacrificing someone else's
son today, there won't be a war for their baby to fight when that child grows up. What is likely to happen if we stay on the Bush-Cheney course is the exact opposite.

31. NO such thing as a security mom
Edited on Sat Sep-25-04 02:11 AM by liberalpragmatist
Read the article in the New Republic this week (www.tnr.com) or wait till it comes out on newsstands. Noam Scheiber completely demolishes the myth that there are security moms. Rather, Kerry's numbers among women have fallen slightly because his numbers in the electorate as a whole have fallen slightly. Sure, there are some women who are voting Bush out of security concerns, but they are a small number, not a massive swing block and I wouldn't be surprised if they were offset by so-called "security moms" voting Kerry because they didn't think Bush was keeping america safe.

34. I've said it before I'll say it again
These women are answering polls in front of their husbands, who have become fascistified by Bush's fuhrership and their own cowardice in the face of the international situation.

Say you were one of these moms. Would you consider it important enough to tell the pollster the truth if it meant managing the complete assholeusness of your children's father for days, possibly weeks?
