Klingons---0% for Bush
http://www.wweek.com/story.php?story=5539

According to the poll of eight local Klingons, a whopping 75 percent support the Democratic nominee.

Two Klingons polled--or 25 percent--said they planned to write in Satan.

Bush scored an abysmal zero percent in the poll.

"A good war is based on honor, not deception," says K'tok (Earth name: Clyde Lewis), a 40-year-old Klingon from Lair Hill. "The first warrior, President Bush, deceived us all with this war."

Portland Klingon speakers are increasingly influential. Last year, Multnomah County's mental-health services opened a search for a Klingon interpreter to work with speakers of the language.* Though the Klingons polled all appeared to be registered voters, they emulate an unfamiliar political system.

"On the home world, if there had been a contested election between Gore and Bush, the honorable thing would be for Gore to kill Bush," explained Khraanik (Earth name: Jason Lewis), a 38-year-old from Southeast Portland. "Or the other way around. And then ascend to the head of the High Council."

1. This is comforting.

We know Bush has the Borg vote wrapped up, but I'm now hearing that internal polling is showing the majority of Vulcans consider his actions to be "highly illogical."

No word yet on who Kirk is going to endorse.

5. You bet!
Klingons value honor as warriors. Vulcans value logic.

What does the Bush Administration have to do with either of them? Well, almost nothing.

The only thing that comes to mind here is the Borg, (read: Big Organization). They only assimilate, and you must comply! Resistance is just futile. That is their total approach, and the Bush Administration fits the idea totally.

Bush = Borg

They can't get their convoys into Iraq to trade. They're loosing billions in Gold-Pressed Latinum.

I think the Crystaline Entity has a Bush'04 sticker on it somewhere, tho. *ph34r*

First of all, I'd think Klingons would write in "Kahless"

The Vulcans are rational, and even if they claim to not be "sensitive," they'd vote for Kerry. :P

The Borg ("Resistance is futile"), the Ferengi ("all for profit" and where they believe women should not wear clothing and not allowed the work), the Pakled (the dumb "We are Smart" aliens) would vote Bush, along with the religious right followers of Kai Winn of the Bajoran People (looking toward the "Reckoning" with the text of the Kostamojan in the fire caves of Aghanistan)

And the new conservatives who didn't vote previously are holograms generated from Diebold computers. :P

8. Thank you!
Thanks for expounding, so appropriately, on the idea.

I totally agree. Let us reject the Holograms of Diebold who intend to project thier electronic illusions upon our Great Society
