MSNBC removes the "Bush enjoys lead" copy from the "Kerry Strategy" teaser
For the last two days, MSNBC has had this Kerry "Anti-Terror Plan" teaser on its front page. It also contained a line, irritatingly so, to the effect that "Bush enjoys a modest lead."

Guess what? As Dave Chappelle would say, Kerry's BACK, bee-yatch...WITHOUT any copy about Junior enjoying ANYTHING.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/

Note: W-A-Y down on the front page, under "Opinions," is a SMALL link for "NBC poll: Bush holds narrow lead." HOWEVER, clicking on it reveals "Updated: 7:24 p.m. ET Sept. 22, 2004"...the date it first appeared on the front page.

The concerns about Kerry "not having a clear message," as expressed in the article, seem to be dissipating as the frigging message gets CLEARER and Bush drags out his Allawi puppet to read carefully crafted Karl Rove and Karen Hughes talking points.

That and the fact that Kerry's message is getting clearer every day.

:toast:

2. When the networks FINALLY carried JK's speeches this week...
it got kind of tough to claim that JK's message wasn't clear.

3. It looks
like the lead he had in TIME magazine has been halved. He's now up by 6, compared to 11 or something ridiculous a few days ago.

Even 6 seems to be a bit much. IF Bush is up, it's by 2-3 points at the most.

4. At the moment, I'd guess he's not up at all.
It'll take awhile for polls to show it, but my guess is Kerry is now winning.

6. considering time sampled 5% more repubs than dems, then i think
he is likely up not at all... of course most people only hear that bush is up by 6%, but i doubt they will be hearing that for very much longer!

5. I'd feel better if they took it off 'cause some Dem official raised hell
about it.
