Fact Freepers Can't Face.
Edited on Sat Sep-25-04 10:52 PM by HarveyBriggs
Under George W. Bush we have prosecuted and convicted more US soldiers for crimes than we have prosecuted and convicted terrorsts.

And they say we are winning the war on terrorism?

2. Bush better win the election if he don't want to go to jail
If he doesn't win I see him on trial for war crimes/ The first American president in history.

3. May I ask?
For a link, if you please, to any site citing this as a fact. Don't get me wrong, I'm not doubting you, but we need a report or something to back this claim up.

4. Don't have a link, but I read
in the last few days that Ashcroft hasn't successfully prosecuted any terrorists.

5. Well, I can't provide a site
but I can't think of any "terrorists" that have been prosecuted except John Lind (sp) and the Insane Shoe Bomber, although there are some in the process even though the US has rounded up thousands and thousands of prisoners. You can be sure that AssKKKroft would make a BIG deal of any promising prosecutions.

On the other hand, many soldiers have been charged in ongoing investigations and some have already been sentenced for their actions.

6. Believe them it's true, you really don't need a link, all you need
to do is ask them to prove otherwise, that is one issue that the press is making us aware of. Our brave soldiers, these same ones Bush keeps acting as if he is standing behind are getting court martialed left and right, and not ONE, and I mean not ONE so called arressted terrorist since 9/11 has yet to be convicted of anything, all they have done to them is hide them in the court system..

Not even the press not to long ago aiding their claim that most are being held illegaly were able to help free them, to this date, they are still incarirated and still not convicted of anything..

Thats the goverment these morons of Bush are wanting to keep in power, the worst case of abuse of power in America that will ever be docmented beside early slavery....

7. October 4 The Nation....
has an editorial titled "Ashcroft: 0 For 5,000." The author states that Ashcroft has detained 5,000 foreign nationals and has yet received a conviction.

Couldn't find it on their website....hope this helps....

8. That is correct.
The Nation has it, and it's been reported frequently that Ashcroft has yet to convict a terrorsit.

On the other hand, we are convicting soldiers. Start with the pilots involved with dropping bombs on Canadians. That was tragic, but it happens.

One thing that disguted me with Vietnam, and disgusts me now with Bush's war, is that once we get involved with a quagmire the politicians begin attacking the soldiers.

Once again we have invaded somebody's homeland and we occupy it with no plan on how to solve the problem. And once again the politicians ask the soldiers to take the heat.

I think being in harms way is enough heat. I think once we send a young man or young woman into harms way, we need to be responsible for what happens. And from 9/11 on, Geroge WMD Bush has failed to take that responsiblity.

My heart breaks when I see some young reservist taken from his or her "one weekend a month" commitment and thrown into a poorly conceived war, then charged with some crime that the poor kid would have never commited save for the fact some complete mornon sent him there without proper training.

George WMD Bush admitted when he ran for this office that our armed services should not be used for nation building. And now he's sent them for that purpose. That's his mistake, not our soldier's mistake.

This is true, what I reported. Simply because the Bush News Network has not reported it does not make it untrue or unimportant.

14. This is why young people don't take responsibility for anything either.

13. I has been all over the news one after the other maybe terrorist is let go
I was wondering if * ever intended to hold anyone. If he knew about 9/11 and let it happen and now those who aided and abetted are let go it seems proof that * had prior knowledge. Just a thought I've been having.
