Dems are saying Kerry doesn't make me feeeeeeellllllll.
On radio talk tonight in CA some folks were complaining that Kerry didn't make them feel anything. I was thinking that my being pissed at the little turd and his death squad wasn't enough then they must be about as heartless as * is. :wtf: do we need a president to make us feel now. Crist there are too many who do not take responsibility for anything and now they want someone else to make them feel. I swear we need leadership and human being training 101. I guess this is more of a rant sorry.

1. Don't stress, these are people who more than likely are star
struck types meaning they go for little substance but all glamour, sadly they will continue this facade until they themselves end up behind enemy lines if there happens to be a draft....

It just goes to show you that they are not listening to the words Kerry speaks, its not his faulty but the fault of some Americans who love to live in fantasy lands...

2. Kerry has won me over.
I was a hardcore Dean supporter and apathetic (or worse) towards Kerry in the primaries. Ever since the convention, however, he's won me over. All people have to do is LISTEN to the man speak. My God, if Kerry hasn't made you feel anything in the last week, you're either not listening or you don't want to.

3. How do you know they were really Democrats?
Anyone can say they are Dems. Same thing....call in and say you are a Republican and you are disgusted with bush and CANNOT vote for him and are voting for Kerry.

6. Could be but in Ca there are so many shallow folks I tend to feel they
were Dems. They want so badly for him to beat * just like some on here who say Kerry isn't fighting hard enough or not saying the right thing. Complainers.

7. What Station?
Most talk radio in CA is Fauxified.

You either have to be an arrogant jerk, or right wing, or both, to get on talk radio in Southern California.

I know. Not much help but hubby says most are RW but this guy is OK. Sounded like the wuss station to me. I had to laugh at how pathetic some people are.

18. I live in Sac.
Tonight on the right we have:
Micheal Savage, Bill O'Reilly, Mark Williams, the "Best" of Rush Limbaugh, Michael Medved, Mike Gallagher, Hugh Hewitt, Reagan (the stupid one) and Art Bell.

And on the left we have:
Mike Mallory.

I seriously doubt this was being said on Mike's show.

Let me tell you, it was radio hell here until 1 month ago when Air America started broadcasting!

8. This is because most of them are too lazy to get to
know the candidate themselves, preferring someone to spoon-feed them data.

I'll admit that I wasn't all that hot for Kerry immediately, but after I started researching him, I've come to the conclusion that he wouldn't make a good presidential candidate: HE MAKES A GREAT PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE!

This is a war hero who had the moral courage to speak out about the horror of the war that he had just experienced. He is a man who has saved lives through quick-thinking and resourcefulness. This is a man who had the courage to pursue truth and justice in the face of resistance from his own party in the BCCI and Iran/Contra investigations. He's a cancer survivor and at age 60+ he still skis and wind surfs. As a human being John Kerry is nothing short of awesome.

I hold my initial doubts about Kerry out as testimony to the power of the media and my own laziness. I never suspected how badly I had been lied to about John Kerry, but I say it proudly now:

John Kerry for President!

11. He is a man for all men. I love him because he speaks for me. I remember
his speach to senate and how Nixon tried to take him down because he knew the was a strong force. He may have mellowed but I think that is going to help in the debates and with our allies. I want a man with heart in the WH

10. I would bet that some are not really Dems at all.
For those that really are Dems, that's really lame -- even if you really feel that way about Kerry. All Karl Rove wants is to paint us as lukewarm about Kerry, even though most of us are 100% in his corner. In any event, you should all read this thread. It's pretty good.

17. Are we a nation of adolescents?
What are we voting for, Prom King? All the garbage about who has the better hair and whether he makes our hearts go pit-a-pat. I think I'm going to throw up. This is the most important election of our lifetimes. If we lose it, it will be the last election. Let's vote for the candidate who has already proved his worth, in combat, in an unpopular but right protest, with 20-plus years of service to the country.

Edited on Sun Sep-26-04 01:48 AM by K8-EEE
God I don't want Kerry to come over for dinner, don't wanna have a beer with him, don't want to go to the prom with him and don't want him to save my soul.

I want him to stop these neo-cons from turning our democracy into a fascist police state, I want him to stop the insanity that is going on in the White House.
