Have you ever referred to * as "President"
I NEVER have, and it is intentional. Not even immediately after 9/11.

He has always been W or Dumbya, or Chimpy to me.... always will be. Now he is *.

I cant even bear to say his last name!

10. Didnt think it was just me
I tried for a few days after Sept 11.... I REALLY tried.

But within two or three days he was referring to the terrorists as "the folks who brought these building down."

So from then on I called him Dumbya until I discovered DU... now he is Chimpy or *.

Exactly the names he deserves.

12. I had a LTE published awhile ago
Never once called him "President" but did of course use his last name.

It got published. :)

Never mentioned it to anyone but a few people I know saw it and commented.

By the way... they all agreed with it. ;)

35. I wrote an anti-chimp letter
to the LA Times a couple of months ago referring to chimp as "Bush." The goddamn editors stuck the word "President" in front of it when they published it. I was livid. Sent a nasty letter telling them I would never call the idiot "President," and they had no business changing the content of the letter. Needless to say they didn't publish that one.

I just felt the country should unite in a time of crisis. I'll just leave it at that. A stupid question: What's with the asterisk anyway? Is it because his name is unspeakable in this hallowed ground?

...never legally elected.

Additionally, the "crisis" was allowed to happen, at the very least.

I literally cannot stand to LOOK at him on the TV. If he's on, I mute the channel and read until it's gone. Unless of course the program is Letterman, Olbermann or Jon Stewart. THEN I watch cuz they make him look like the fool that he is. And for some reason, I REALLY enjoy that.

Once in a while, if I'm talking to someone I just met, or is so poitically removed, I will say bush, just because they wouldn't know who I was referring to if I used shrub.

"fuckhead" or "fuckface" to me..those are the names I used for coping with reality.

When I got on DU in 2002..I learned a bunch of other names for his chimpness! "The squatter" is good one.

I felt funny saying his name out loud to other people..

I'm thinking that's why * can't say Kerry's name now..he hates him. And is repelled by the thought of Kerry taking over his job(sic).

39. Have always called him BoyGeorge
No pun intended on the British singer. It's just that every time I see the frigging loser the first thing that pops into my head is the theme song from Toys R Us - "I don'wanna grow up, I'm a Toys R Us kid..."

Spoiled little frat rat who has had parents who buy him every little toy his heart desires. They have bought him this country and like all bratty kids, he gives all indications that he is tired of it already. "It's no fun, I wanna take a nap, why can't I have England for my birthday!" Throws tantrums just like a two-year old when things don't go his way. Immature asshole, prick, dictator, Rove's boy toy, all possibilities - but NEVER president.
