Bush will cost us lives in Iraq rushing the elections

The CIA's NIE in 2002 was the best estimates we had at the time of Saddams capabilities. However, they were not good enough for Bush who had them altered to suit his agenda. Bush doesn't care about facts, he cares about what he believes is right and he pursues that with a blind stubbornness to its bitter conclusion.

Rumsfeld and Cheney also both helped cook up additional "intelligence" that never went through the CIA, so they could all realize their NeoCon vision for the future and carry out the invasion of Iraq.

Now, faced with another NIE from the CIA that does not fit with his vision, he chooses once again to ignore it and call it "guesses". All so he can gain political capital in the upcoming election. He is forcing these elections to happen prematurely.

How many soldiers and civilians will die needlessly as a result of his stubborn leadership and inability to accept outside opinions?

1. I am thinking this war was for this election.
Bush was not going to be a one term President like his father. People would vote for their President when he won a war or be un-Am. They would make it like WW2 not like his father's war.Trouble is the people of Iraq have not done as he planned and some of the voters here do not like his little world war.The party were going to run with Bush on the carrier , at ground zero, feeding turkey to the troops, without a service casket in sight. Bush I bet thought this would also be another time he could use his father's mailing list and bring in all those countries that had been with his father. People seem to not go against the Bush family and they have always bailed George out, so father's 'Friends' could be counting on.I am willing to bet father has been on the phone for 4 years trying to save George. After all Son George may hurt Jeb's run. Father was going to show the Kennedy's at one time it was said. I am just willing to bet we are in this war so George can be a two term President.

2. Everything Bush does is political
That's why he started this war in the first place.

He doesn't give a damn about anything except winning a 2nd term. And the only reason he wants a 2nd term is to prove to himself he's got bigger balls than his daddy.

He is one sick fuck.
