Where is the source that * is wearing an earpiece during the debates...?

I KNOW I read on DU that there WAS an article about * wearing an earpiece during the debates; it wasn't in this Time article (http://www.time.com/time/election2004/article/0,18471,702075,00.html)
So I was wondering where the bloody hell the link for the source of the earpiece rumour is ??

in a very subtle yet humiliating way. Like is the voice in your head Dick Cheney talking through your earpiece? Or I would like to complement the President on his nice earpiece.

5. I have never managed to find anything that appears reliable

... mostly blogs, message board posts, gossip. Looks like an urban legend to me.

But I'd sure love to see a link to something substantive. And I do hope someone looks at his ears before he enters the stage at the debates!

What if something were to be observed there? How would it be handled? (nevermind those posts about Kerry should confront him on stage... it wouldn't happen) Could Chimp claim it's a hearing aid? If it WERE a hearing aid and Kerry called him out on it, it wouldn't look good for K.

I would love to know if it's true / false / or hearing aid.
