Kerry debate trick....
someone mentioned this already, but it becomes more important now that it has leaked out that the lecterns will be ten feet away. When they meet and shake hands, Kerry needs to keep the grasp for a second longer or so, so that the still photographers can get the photo and it will be in all the papers the next mornings. This will show Kerry's five inch plus height advantage. Heck, for that matter, maybe Kerry should put a couple of inch lifts in his shoes........

1. sorry,
no lifts allowed in the shoes!

Now whether that is one of the real rules, or one of the Al Franken composed ones, I can't be sure... but I did hear that on the radio! :)

2. John Kerry's hand will engulf bush's - I hope this ticks the little man
off immediately and distracts him.

5. Kerry should not let go of the handshake...
...for a long while, just so we can see Meathead squirm uncomfortably.

10. No tricks needed!
Kerry needs to come across as a common man. Skip the big
words, talk to the America people so they can understand. SHOW
A LITTLE HUMOR.

11. Remember the '88 sketch on SNL
with Carvey playing Poppy and Lovitz playing Dukakis? Dukakis was so short he kept raising and lowering the podium to bring him to Poppy's level. Funnier to see than it is for me to describe.

The other classic from that sketch was after one of Poppy's moronic "stay the course, thousand points of light," etc. etc. etc. answers, Dukakis looks into the camera and says, "I can't believe I'm losing to this guy."

Way more humor that the real Dukakis EVER displayed.
