Who else can hardly wait for the THREE DAY O'Reilly interview with W?
In the "60 Minutes" Mike Wallace piece last night they mentioned that O'Reilly actually goes after and "grills" Dimson on the lack of WMD.

We'll see.

Fox News Channel's star commentator Bill O'Reilly scored (L) a rare sit-down television interview on September 22, 2004 with President George W. Bush (news - web sites) that will air on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, the network said. In the interview, conducted in New York, Bush discussed topics ranging from the war in Iraq (news - web sites) and weapons of mass destruction to his National Guard record and the Swift boat ad campaign that challenged campaign opponent John Kerry (news - web sites)'s service in the Vietnam War, Fox News said. Frame grab released by Fox News on September 26, 2004. NO SALES, NO ARCHIVE REUTERS/FOX News Channel/The O'Reilly Factor

3. Do you mean I'll have to pull out a barf bucket?
and actually watch Fox news. Well it might be worth it just to see the Idiot stumble over his words.

5. I wouldn't get my hopes up
O'Reilly is no "independent." I don't care what he said on 60 Minutes. The "grilling" of Bush seems like nothing more than hype to boost ratings.

6. Grilling of the chimp?
Edited on Mon Sep-27-04 09:05 AM by LibDemAlways
More like, "We all know Saddam did such a great job of hiding the weapons that they haven't yet been found. But, Mr. President, of course you have every confidence that they will be, don't you?"

"Yes, of course."

"And how's that golf game, sir?"

7. I'm sure the editing process was FAIR and BALANCED
believe me, if Bush said anything useful to the opposition, it is already on the cutting room floor.

8. I'm sure they gave George the "Hard questions" beforehand
This will likely be a very staged and calculated "controntational" interview. If Bush had any trouble answering a question, it will be edited out by FOX anyways.

10. I will watch just see W looking over O'Reilly's shoulder
and reading the focus group tested answers off the cue cards.

9. Wow, like watching Soviet Pravda interview Brezhnev!
I'm sure they "grilled" him in EXACTLY the same way O'Reichley "grills" his Emperor.

Pretty funny stuff. Bill O'Reichley pretending to be an Elder Statesman "Journalist".

Come to think of it, O'Reichley as the Best Regarded "Journalist" would indeed be like a poster for Bushevik Soviet-style Tyranny and Control of the Airwaves.
