4. I think the "message" is that if we keep dumping CO2 into the atmosphere

while waging oil wars to protect our right to drive hummers, we're going to see more and more of this sort of increased storm activity, in terms of frequency and strength. Amazing how the press, who several years ago was willing to spend months analyzing the "links and causes" between a few statistically uninteresting Shark Attacks (Shark Attack Summer!) is totally unwilling to even float the notion that maybe, just maybe, one of the reasons we're seeing all this f*cking hurricane activity is because the oceans- and the planet- are getting warmer.
