Give me a candidate who will address the nation's traffic situation and
I will give you the winner! Talk about something that matters to most of us like jobs that don't pay enough to raise a family even when both are working, our poor condition of society because of traffic jams and the how the cost of owning an auto is eating up our incomes (insurance, taxes, fuel, costs, and financing). People need autos because of poor public transportation nation-wide and this necessity is keeping over 60% of working families in the hole.

1. I was at a Operating Engineers union meeting yest. As a wife of a operator
I know that over the last 20 yrs at least. Democrates in office work is good. Rethugs in office work stops. My husband builds bridges and we live in CA near the bay area where freeways are one of the most crowded in the world so I think we know. I hope that helps. I believe that anytime the money is spent on America building bridges and hyways is happening. That is a Democratic objective.

2. Here, here!! Our small city is putting in it's first triple left turn lane
...and it will still take at least 2 cycles to turn left at the intersection during rush hour. Also, people are more inclined to run lights so they don't have to cycle through another time.

I rarely go out at lunch anymore cuz I spend more time in traffic than doing my errands.

3. fewer roads
more rail and mass transit. Making the inner city more like the country, rather than vice versa. Working near where you live. It's the future.
