Just got an absentee ballot form from the GA Republican Party

complete with picture of Bush* and Johnny(gag)Isaakson. With the limitations on campaigning while registering voters WHY is this allowed? It was bulk mail, so I am sure everyone in my county got one. UGH!!!!!

an actual absentee ballot? Just curious, in my area only the Elections office can mail out the actual ballots.

the real thing? In California, one need to petition for an absentee ballot through the county Registrar of Voters. When one is issued, your name is struck from your regular poll and you can't vote any other way except with the absentee ballot. I don't want any republicans making that decision for me!

I got your application for a Michigan absentee ballot in the mail too. Don't know how I got on your mailing list, but since I will be out of town on election day, I will be voting absentee. And what a big irony it will be that I will be using the GOP form to request my ballot? I wonder if I'll end up on more mailing lists?
