Debate tip for Kerry
The Republicans are bullies, meaning that they're only brave when they're in a mob. How do you beat a bully? You get him alone and pummel him. Remember that in your debate against Bush. Pummel him. Don't let him get away with any lies. Don't feel sorry for him. Don't be afraid that some voters will feel sorry for him.

6. he was blamed for moving too aggressively toward bush
when they argued he was considered too aggressive/opinionated for stating his points instead of saying.."well i have to think about it" etc..which is what bush did

what america wants is a guy-next-door president...who isnt overly intellectual, kinda friendly acting, non-aggressive.

7. *gag* aggressive is when you smack your oponent with a foam clue-by-four
and tell him to shut up, he's increasing the CO2 load on the planet.

What America thinks America wants and what America needs are generally not very closely related.

4. Gore had other problems in the debates, IMO.
I watched the repeat of a Gore-Bush debate a couple of nights ago. I saw why Bush did so well. Gore didn't have a grasp on all the facts to the extent that Bush did. Gore didn't have details and examples at the ready. Gore didn't have ready some quick little comebacks that could be used in different instances. Gore didn't have one or several sound bites to work in over and over (Bush repeatedly used one word - I forget what it was now - when referring to something; so whether you agreed or not, after the debate you thought of that word when you thought of Bush). Gore laughed uneasily at odd times. Gore was lacking in confidence, while Bush was full of it, overflowing with it, actually. Gore was polite, while Bush went for the jugular, even interrupting Gore (and Gore let him). Gore was "Please" and "If I may" and "if I could have a moment to respond to that...." Bush was, "Well, once again my opponent has it wrong...." and "My response is....." and "I need to correct that inaccuracy...." (just my examples).

Bush seemed just better prepared, more confident, more at ease in his skin.

5. Here are 2 "pummel" questions...
"Why did you 'work' this August for the first time since seizing the office?"

"You keep saying we havent been hit, therefore we are safer: what precisely have you done to make us safer, since we went without a hit also from 1993 to 2001, a period of 8 years?"
