Ok, so that includes everyone. ;) I just thought you could ALL use a little encouragement.

This is actually about the Kerry signs I saw today, but first, a little background:
As you know, Oklahoma always goes repuke. This has been the case since Johnson. As it stands, we may very well get a Democratic, though not an ideal one, Senator. Brad Carson seems to be pulling away as Tom Coburn implodes.

My daughter and I headed to the fairgrounds today to get our MEGA Ride Passes (hehehe) and from I-244 & Yale to 15th & Yale, I saw about 5 Kerry/Edwards signs and ONE * sign. That's good news folks!

We also saw numerous Doug Dodd signs. It just sickens me that a man as good as Doug will lose to a fucking piece of shit like John Sullivan. I hate that man!

Anyway, just thought I'd tell y'all!

1. Hello fellow Okie
I have been predicting a Carson and Kerry win for a long time. I see more Kerry signs than bush in OKC at a ratio of about 2-3 to 1. That is encouraging to me. I wish Dems could runs as Dems in OK but they have to adopt the mantle of "conservative" to not be torn to shreds by our right wing media that saturates every aspect of Oklahoma life.

3. Hey there
I've been getting really discouraged over the number of those idiotic "W 04" stickers I see on the backs of every SUV in Broken Arrow. OKNancy just told me the Tulsa World endorsed Brad Carson. I'm glad. I think Brad's a good guy, he's just too conservative for my taste.

More Kerry than * signs. We do have reports that Kerry signs are being stolen though. Must be getting desperate :).
