Everywhere I turn
The media is relentlessly going after Kerry.

MSNBC has a repeat of Sunday's Meet the Press, largely a boring show, where they trashed Kerry. On bogus CNN, Frau Zahn is jackbooting through another anti-Kerry "he's not doing well" rant.

Will it ever end?

1. No. The Media has declared their winner.

As an American who could only be described as middle of the road on most issues, I am amazed and appalled daily at the support that Bush receives from media sources. And to think they whine about 527's. Give me a break.

7. This is the same thing they did to Truman
when Dewey trounced him in '48.

4. Republicans own the media

Ignore them or realize that when you watch, you are a fly on the wall in enemy territory.

The day will come when the journalists of our time will be looked back upon with sheer scorn. They will be abhored as the traitors they have become. They will be spit on for their betrayal of the public trust.

They are co-conspirators in the ugliest crime: they destroy this nation, our Constitution and our peaceful way of life with EVERY broadcast.

I honestly don't know how they live with their cowardice.

5. Kerry must have struck a nerve.
The same thought occurred to me when I heard the Freepers are discussing Kerry stealing the election through voter fraud. They're talking that up so that in case Kerry wins, they can point to the bogus polls, and the isolated instances of fraud on the Dem side (vs the rampant fraud on the Repub side) and scream, "Kerry's not my president! He stole the election!"

I see it as a hopeful sign, actually. The other side seems desperate.

6. No,not for years
Between the corporate ownership of media and their corporate sponsors, the notion of a fair media is almost completely dead. When the corporations and righties take over the internet, democracy as we know it will be dead.
