Bush will win the debate because of low expectations?
This appears to be the new line of the "pundits." He, and his campaign create such low expectation for him that when he manages to complete a full sentence (can he?) he will be declared the a winner.

He will be folksy, they say. Will talk Texanese, never ending a verb with a "g" - feelin, lovin, screwin..

Compare to Kerry "aloofness" and 'patrician" appearance, Bush will be so cute that we will want to take him to mom and to cuddle him and, of course vote for him.

Now I am going to throw up.

1. I saw a clip of Howard Dean with Matt Lauer today
Talking about Bush's great debate skills. Don't worry. The Democrats won't let the media win the low expectations game.

giving * low expectations. I can't believe they have done it again. Well, maybe I can.

4. This is what Kerry suggested when he was a guest at Letterman, I think
When they were talking about standing at the podium or sitting and at some point Kerry suggested that "the President" should sit on Cheney's lap.
