Kerry should use DRAFT, well how bout another RECESSION...
I know it's unlikely, but there are murmers of another recession if the economy doesn't pick up.

Oil prices are as high as ever. Everyone knows this. The stock market never really recovered... right now it sits below 10000. The hurricanes could hurt the economy in the southeast. I'm sure Bush will use the hurricanes as an excuse for the economy slowing down, but we still need to use every piece of available ammo.

We need to win this election, and although another recession is unlikely, it will definetly stick in people's minds if it is used during the debates.

We know that people(even intelligent ones) are easily influenced by sound-bites and words. We all have heard of people basing there votes on flip-flopper, terrorists want Kerry, and Swift Lies. I guarantee that draft and recession will affect the easily persuaded voter more than flip-flopper.

1. About the draft: Kerry should say
"You know, in a draft you have to actually show up for duty."

past 8 or so years. Two weeks ago they cut all overtime indefinitely. This is a non union shop that prototypes for the automotive and aerospace industries. If these guys are getting their hours cut...well then, the recession has already come. :hi:

And, on the only happy side note: It's affecting those he works with that were "thinking" of voting Bush in again.

4. Yes, but for some reason many want to believe...
Bush when he says the economy is great.

Using simple buzz words that "scare the shit out of people" could have an effect.

My only concern would be Kerry coming across as to negative. It could backfire.

6. "Overtime has been cut indefinitely definitely scared the shit out of
my husband's co workers. He's basically started a reading room at work, including Stupid White Men, Worse than Watergate, Lies and the Lying Liars..., and Bush's Brain at work. And they're being read.

7. Well duh Bush had to cut overtime
He had to cut overtime, needed to ship those jobs over seas somehow! If only he could run on the record number of jobs he helped create in China, he'd be set.

5. One more depressed "leading indicators" report and we'll
officially be in a recession. It's happening now. What we may be facing if Idiot cheats his way back in is a full-blown depression. We may be facing one, anyway, since all the ingredients are fully in place, thanks to 40 years of bipartisan bungling and the destruction of all the New Deal protections.

Kerry may consult the history books and realize what he has to do in order to deal with it. Idiot will just bull ahead, expecting that if he keeps doing the wrong thing, it will suddenly come out all right.
