Soros, Clark, diplomats and generals on C-SPAN 3 Right NOW
Edited on Tue Sep-28-04 11:03 AM by RafterMan
Opened by hammering Bush as a disasterous blunder, then Clark introducing Soros.

Should be good.

16. Thanks
That post put me in the 700 club and boy am I proud.

I never understood before how queer jewish communists brought down the World Trade Center, but it's all so clear to me now.

3. You can tell it's driving him nuts
I really think Clark took so long to announce not because he wasn't sure if he was a Democrat or if he was wondering if he should be president, but because he wanted to be sure he acted in the way that did the most damage to Bush.

Clark has utter contempt for him.

4. Soros is hitting pretty hard!
A vicious circle of our fear and their rage.

The fact that what they do is wrong does not make what we do right.

Bush is making us less safe.

7. The debate remains stifled
even during the election because Bush says that any criticism during wartime puts our troops at risk.

Particularly eager to reach for Republicans who might vote out of party loyalty -- Bush has not been loyal to Republican values.

13. They were hammering this soundbite on Fox
just about 15 minutes ago.

They know Kerry is gunning for the "Mission Accomplished" photo op, so they played part of the O'Reilly interview where Bush talks about thanking the troops.

Then the talking head for Bush made it sound like Kerry was criticizing the mission and denegrating the men. That's right fellas, Kerry is an unpatriotic bastard who will say anything to get elected. Uh huh.

They always do this, turning any criticism about Bush into a swipe at our military. They aren't the same damn thing.

Please God, tell me people are smarter than this.

15. One of the questioner tried to set up Soros
with the "criticizing the mission and denegrating the men" line. He asked something like, "Are you saying those thousand brave warriors threw their lives away foolishly?" or whatever.

Fortunately, GS didn't fall for it.

Of course, someone named "LittleClarkie" must know the *real* way to deal with that question...

17. Well, I don't know what the "real" way is
but I know what I'd say.

"No sir, I'm saying that President Bush squandered the lives of those thousand brave soldiers for his own political and financial gain."

WASHINGTON, Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- George Soros today launched an

In a speech at the National Press Club in Washington, Soros strongly criticized President Bush's foreign policy, from the war in Iraq to his management of the war on terror.
"Bush's war in Iraq has done untold damage to the United States," Soros said. "If we re-elect him now, we endorse the Bush doctrine of preemptive action and the invasion of Iraq, and we will have to live with theconsequences."

Today, Soros is launching a new web site - http://www.GeorgeSoros.com - as well as a significant internet advertising campaign to draw attention to his views which will be posted on the site. At the site, visitors will be able to download a chapter of his book and copies of his speech as well as post response to Soros' speech.
