Volunteer from home for Kerry!!!!
Originally posted by SOCALDEM(Thanks alot), re-posted by me!!

Use your free evening and weekend minutes to make a difference in battleground states!

------------

Now is the time to reach out and touch someone.

You can join a special group of volunteers working from home to elect John Kerry and John Edwards. We've set up a new organizing tool -- the JohnKerry.com Call Center -- that will mobilize thousands of additional volunteers in the swing states where the election will be closest. You'll mobilize volunteers who will talk to hundreds of undecided voters.

It is that easy and can make a huge difference. All you need to do is download a list of needed phone calls and we'll give you a phone script for your calls.

To get started with your calls, please click here:

http://calls.johnkerry.com

Here is what you'll need to do after you click on the link.

Read the instructions and phone script on the website
Make your calls (Calling time ends at 9:30 p.m. Central Time)
Report back on the results of your calls
What will you be talking about? Today's calls will be reaching Kerry-Edwards online supporters in Iowa where volunteers are needed to be trained as "ballot chasers." Voting by mail is a big thing in Iowa -- without absentee ballots in 2000, Al Gore would have lost Iowa. He won the state by only 4000 votes, or about two votes per precinct. To get out the absentee ballot vote, thousands of volunteers are needed to go door-to-door. We need your help calling our supporters in Iowa -- all of whom joined the campaign online like you -- and asking them to volunteer with the Democratic Party in their community.

We've made it easy for you to make these calls. And every call you make could mobilize one more volunteer to make DOZENS of voter contacts.

Please act today by clicking here:

Thanks for all you do.

1. Interesting -- however,
here in Dayton, Ohio, the paid-professional (?) campaign people told us we could NOT make phone calls from home; all phone banking must be done from our "official" phone bank site (a downtown law firm).

I'm confused . . .

3. I just made about twenty calls.....
Some people are pretty rude, and some were from the other side. I did reach two receptive people out of twenty. I am going back for more. Hey a large phone bill is worth it!!!
