Yard signs popping back up in my neighborhood!
I'm proud of my neighbors as they have replaced the signs that were stolen this past Saturday. I stopped at county dem hdqrtrs today and got three, just in case. Plus, my buddy is coming down from Detroit to spend the weekend with our family. He and I will be on Red Alert Saturday night.

Do you remember some of the anti-sign stealing methods that were discussed here recently?

I remember such things as: red ants, deer wire, and Crisco. Any more? Thanks.

Have a great Easter!

1. Unload a can of pepper spray on it.
They will tough their eyes, nose sooner or later.

2. How about Poison Ivy oil
Or maybe just attach a sign that says that you have put Poison Ivy oil on the sign and touch at your own risk! It's up to you whether you actually put it on there. You could make a big showing of it by placing it gingerly in the ground wearing gloves! LOL

3. One person tied a string to it and ran it around the house to
the window outside the bedroom. Attatched it to a bell. When yanked, the bell rings.

6. Idea...
Drive a stake in the ground, tie sign to stake with 5 feet of rope...tape single-edged razorblades to the outside of the sign and a few on the frame. If brown-shirts try to take sign, they may get a hold of it without losing a digit, but when the line to the stake runs out they will have a razor blade riddled tangled mess in their hands pulling away from them as they run away...definite damage....laugh at the blood stains and chunks of flesh left behind...Your sign, can be rinsed off and put back into place.

9. There's a garden product called Tanglefoot that is incredibly sticky.
That would be fun to put on the signs in a few places.

It might discourage some casual thieves.

I do like the idea of Poison Ivy oil, though. Where would one get some?

10. Con your local TV crew into spending the night with you guys...
Promise 'em food. See the little sneak thieves on TV over breakfast the next morning.

23.
