Soros Steps Up Efforts to Oust Bush

WASHINGTON - He's donated some $18 million to organizations working to defeat President Bush. Now, billionaire George Soros is taking his campaign - and money - on the road.

The Hungarian-born activist will spend between $2 million and $3 million in the next month visiting a dozen cities, sending at least 2 million informational pamphlets to voters and placing ads in national and local newspapers.

"In spite of his Texas swagger, George W. Bush does not qualify to serve as our commander in chief," Soros said Tuesday at a news conference.

An ad to appear Wednesday in The Wall Street Journal features Soros' theories on "Why we must not re-elect President Bush." At the top of the list is the invasion of Iraq.

that the Repukes had a chance to let everyone know that Soros "supports the legalization of marijuana", as if this has anything to do with why Soros is doing this.

2. At this point does talking about the legalization of marijuana hurt us?

The war on some drugs is arguably as much a catastrophe as Iraq. The previous Republican governor of New Mexico was for legalizing drugs. Libertarians are often called Republicans on drugs. Soros should say that he'll take a piss test if * does.

He didn't earn his money legitimately, but illegally.

This statement leads me to believe he is an American Citizen.
