I'm in Spartanburg-- DeMint's stronghold. I've tried writing letters to the editor in the Sptbg HJ and the right-wingers won't even print them.

If the election gets tight at the end, Inez should do an ad with all old retired people saying that they can't afford to pay 23% tax on their medicine, food and rent. Seniors are a big voting block. They really get screwed with a national sales tax.

I overheard two independent women at lunch a couple of days ago talking about the tax and saying they will vote for Inez.
