I question the effectiveness of "targeted" phone-polling.
We poll with the objective of identifying a "target" group of undecideds/swing voters whom we can canvass.

In the business world of selling a product,...I understand the aim.

However, I question both the approach and the success of this shit.

Damn.

We are human beings, not products to be bought or sold. Elections are about people who impact our lives,..not merely about moral questions that none of us cannot possibly solve in short-time,...but rather, who have the capacity of inspiring and advancing our potential.

Personally, I prefer creating, whether one-on-one or in groups, a forum,...an opportunity,...actually perpetual opportunities,...to have a conversation and debate about,...our future. The rules would be: (1) You have to be willing to listen; (2) You have to be prepared back up your position; and (3) You have to be flexible enough to solve problems with others.

Of course, we demand such basic stuff from our kindergartners.

I want to talk to one another,...as we are,...as human beings,...something we all share. This consumerism is consuming us.

I just can't take it.
