Is VotePair.org legal?
It seems like a good idea to use an otherwise "wasted" vote in a strong Kerry state (like CA), and change it for a vote in a swing state...but I'm a bit skeptical. Has anyone done this? Is it legal?

Thanks!

1. What's to stop them from not following through with their end of the deal?

4. That's my point!!!
You have NO proof that the person you're 'pairing' with is going to vote for Nader or Senator Kerry. Since this is the 'honor' system, and Repukes have no honor, they will abuse this and hurt the Dems.

3. I don't know if it is legal, but it is rather hard to legislate
against stupidity.

You know there will be people who cheat, and what recourse would anyone have to prove it?

5. Why take the risk?
With what is at stake in this election, and the certain knowledge that the Republicans will cheat and steal as many votes as possible, I don't think we can be sure that any state is "safe."
