10. We've just been given a preview of the debates

all the talking points were there - Saddam was a bad man, somehow AQ was linked to him, inherited a recession, lost a million jobs in 3 months because of 9/11. The sad thing is we know all this is BS, but there is a large portion of America who doesn't, and after the debates will know even less...

I'm appauled that anyone so smart, can fall for such flim flam.
I had a conversation with an Ebay buyer today. He talked love out of one side of his mouth, and nuking Iraq out the other. Here I was talking to a man I had never spoken with before. People are confused, in this country. I'm getting good enough to hold my own, now. By the time we hung up, I am convinced he was a bit more skeptical about what he sees on the tv. Fear produces the exact results Bush wants- confusion.
