Pres Election as Superbowl/World Series/NBA Champ rolled into one?
Does anyone else feel this way about the presidential race? I tell this to people and often they don't get it. They don't get the thrill of watching the conventions, debates and returns. But I love it...I love it best when a Dem wins, but this is all of those wrapped into one....

anyone else out there feel this way?

2. It's entirely TOO long and too drawn out.
Campaign season should be restricted in law to six weeks prior to the election. No more, no less.

3. No.
This is not a fucking football game. This is not America's Circus Maximus.

The fate of our democracy rests on this election. The fate of the world rests on this election.

Go play a video game. Go buy overpriced season tickets to the team of your choice. But don't compare this to sport.

4. Whooo...
No, of course not...it is serious....and I wasn't trying to take away from the seriousness of it, only to point out how many of us see this....

But think of it....many, many people do not see this period as that important; it is seen as a distraction (as many have said, tv programs are only distractions between the commericals)...

I take this damn serious, but I also love the season of Presidential elections. It's about passion and thrill; about the future and hope. It's about life AND LIVING - not death and depression.

If our side does not win, we can fight harder; smarter; eventually the side of the good will prevail.....
