I almost got my father convinced to vote for Kerry I have debunked him on every issue so far but he doest like the child safety lock proposal by Kerry basically (Gun issue)they want less restrictions on guns and they are convinced groups like Peta are gonna take away there guns if democrats are elected.I tell him how we defend the Constitution better then any republican,but they don't see it

They think gun crime control is a movement to take away there guns.
its funny to because the same people buy guns not just for hunting or shooting but to protect them selves and there families.Why are Republicans so self destructive i just don't get it.I try to tell him about how in over 200 years we have never tried to take there guns away but they see groups like Peta and freak,and think they are the base of the democratic party.
