Debate Questions
Here are some questions that should be asked of Bush at the foreign policy debate this Thursday but probably will not be:

- What other wars are you planning?

- Why has no one in your administration accepted responsibility for the failures of Iraq and resigned?

- Do you plan permament military bases in Iraq to replace those in Saudia Arabia?

- How does the death of 11000+ Iraqi civilians aide the "war on terror"?

- In some Arab countries such as Egypt, there is a 98% unpopularity rate toward America. What will you do to correct this?

- How much of foreign policy is dictated by your fundamentalist faith in the "End Times"?

- Did God tell you to attack Iraq?

- Some of your supporters feel that your policies should not be questioned by Americans in a time or war. Do you support this idea?

1. I only have one question for Bush. But its a bit wordy.
Edited on Wed Sep-29-04 03:40 AM by ComerPerro
"You have lied to us continually, Mr. President. You have lied about the economic outlook by saying that the recession started under Clinton and then blaming it on 9/11. You have lied countless times about 9/11, about the warnings you recieved well before 9/11 but either refused to read or simply ignored. You have lied about your intentions in the War on Terror, at one point actually stating that you don't know and don't care where bin Laden is. You have lied about the reasons for invading Iraq, and have even used forged documents to justify this war. Yet still you stand by every lie you had told and you insist that, had you known what is known now about Iraq, you would still do everything the same. Finally, you say that you and the Republicans in Congress have sweeping plans to make the lives of Americans better, but you haven't passed any of them despite the fact that you have a majority in both houses in Congress. In fact, the very first round of tax cuts you passed have taken three years to do anything at all, and we are still 7 million jobs short of the number you promised.

My question is: Why should be believe anything you say, ever again?"

4. My question for shrubya would be 'What have YOU done?'
I'd explain how the GOP has had ALL the power for the last few years and how bush has done jack shit with it. Then I'd pop the "What have YOU done?" question...

5. Well, that's not entirely true.
After all, they have tried to pass unconstitutional laws like the Federal Marriage Amendment, and have bitched when they get called on their bullshit by the judicial branch.

But seriously, that is a good point.

That is how I remind people that Bush is full of shit when he talks about his plans to make things better for the "other" 99% of the country. If he really wanted to do these things, he and the Republicans, who are completely in power, would have done so by now.
