Whoa-What is happening in Ohio?
Edited on Wed Sep-29-04 07:58 AM by demdem
I noticed that Rasmussen has Bush leading in OH by one and now I noticed that the RW pollster stategic vision also has it 1 point for Bush. Damn that feels good. Wow I just checked the Fox Ohio poll and they only have Bush by two. Damn we are going to win.

1. And since those polls...Nader's now off the ballot
And...just for good measure...we're registering voters at 10X the rate of Republicans.

But we still need help on election day.

2. That's very cheery but what about Florida?
I figure we need a 5% margin to overcome the Jeb factor (cheating).

Has Kerry up in FL. Hell even Gallup has it a two point race, So Kerry is likely leading in FL.

5. If Kerry can win all the Gore states + Ohio, he doesn't need Florida
But it would be nice to win a southern state.

6. All the independent polls from Florida show us LEADING by
one in Florida.

We need 3, though.

7. Yup. If Rasmussen & Strategic Vision have Bush +1...
...then in reality, Kerry is probably up by 2-3.

:bounce:

9. SW OH people contact me to get involved
Especially people who can take off work on Nov. 2.

MoveOn PAC is here and I am very impressed with their strategy. We have 15 full time out of state MoveOn staff coordinating this massive effort in SW Ohio!

10. Make it a "Long Weekend"
If you're going to take off November 2, take off November 1 as well and devote 96 hours to the Kerry campaign. You can sleep after the victory is won.

17. Only if you discount the City of Cincinnati
which is 43% African American. They are registered and they are mad.

And the progressive urban neighborhoods around the University of Cincinnati. Clifton, Northside, Mt. Adams, downtown.

Plus all the cool kids at UC support Kerry.

Gen Y loves the TWO-FACED graphic. Get it out there.

12. 50,000 votes = 1% in Ohio. Nader won 118,000
and there were estimated to be 50,000 spoiled ballots in 2000.
It does look good, especially with the 250,000 new Democrats.

13. It's looking better
...now we just need this Blackwell mess to be solved.

Having Nader off the ballot may have just made things considerably easier.

16. Regarding Florida (someone brought it up in this thread), did you hear
a report on CNN today?? They said that on the one hand Floridians are not much into the election right now because of the mess but then went on to point out two things. 1) Bush has been down there a lot looking like he cares and handing out water, etc. BUT 2) it's the republican parts of the state that are really devestated with polling places destroyed, etc. and thus the advantage may be to Kerry. Wonder how many of the rich moved away until their homes can be rebuilt???

19. We're about to redefine "Likely Voter"
in Florida.

Are you likely to vote if you're polling place was destroyed and you have to really search for a place to vote?

Are you likely to vote if it isn't simple, if it isn't something you can do on your lunch break?

Are you liekly to vote if it seems that everything and everyone is conspiring to stop your vote?

It seems like the powers that be have leveled the playing field in Florida. I wonder who will be a "likely voter" in November?
