Cleland offered a litany of reasons why Bush should be evicted from the White House.

He's alienated the world and left America's young people fighting a bloody war in Iraq. He's pulled a third of the troops out of Korea to fight in the desert despite the fact that no weapons of mass destruction have been found in Iraq, but a mushroom cloud was recently seen over North Korea, Cleland pointed out.

Cleland said the war in Iraq allowed Osama bin Laden to remain at large, even though he orchestrated the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and there has been no link found between Sadam Hussein and al-Qaeda.

"Are we saying that a tall, six-foot-five Arab in the desert on kidney dialysis can't be found?" Cleland asked.

To Dawne Golden — a former Marine with 10 years in the service, mother of two and proud registered Republican — Cleland's words reinforced what she said she's come to believe about the current administration.
