Mary Matalin's response to Osama showed weakness in Bush strategy..
When she said, 'a cave was as good as a jail', that was an absurd statement and shows that they have no planned response for the question about Osama? They think the Democrats will not bring up Osama for fear of having him captured just before the election. I seriously doubt that is going to happen but Osama should be an issue. Perhaps not as strongly as the war in Iraq but strong enough to remind people of who attacked us in the first place and why haven't we put him in jail???

5. And, OBL was IGNORED by the shrub administration.
Even after the CIA warned the coWard in an August, 2001 PDB that OBL wanted to strike us here, using airplanes.

What did the shrub do in response? He stayed on vacation. Did nothing to protect us against this threat, and 3,000 innocent people died.

3. The Dems should have a strategy for talking
about obl whether he is captured or not.

The issue is bush went after sadam when sadam had zilch to do with 9/11.

"Smoke 'em out" "Dead OR Alive"..all that bluster bush spewed on obl after 9/11!

That's a good thing if obl is captured..we want him to be captured.. BUT..that doesn't change the terrorist situation that has escalated in the Middle East that bush has wrought from going after the wrong hombre.

We should not forget Osama because we are afraid he will be captured. In fact, we want him to be captured. Where is he, Mr Bush?
