Chicago Tribune graphic: hurricanes targeted republicans
the graphic is not online, but the caption reads:

The four hurricanes that struck Florida over the past six weeks caused the most damage primarily in counties that voted for President Bush in 2000. Of Florida's 67 counties, 51 voted for Bush four years ago.

He takes some liberties with the actual paths (I believe France went back into the gulf for about a half day), but what the heck...
(On edit - here is the snopes on it:

4. Also, I believe the line for Charley is incorrect.
It came over Seminole County. The eastern side was hit worse than the west side. And by the way, Orange County was hit pretty bad.

7. Also, the Keys are part of Monroe County which went Democratic.
This has been pointed out before. Either God had a separate score to settle w/ the Keys, or the chart doesn't imply what we'd like it to. Nice try, but give it up.

8. lol
Frances looks very agile for a hurricane in that pic. And especially vindictive towards republicans. :-)

3. Well, MadFloridian might have a difference of opinion on that.
Wasn't the Chicago Tribune very conservative in the past? I think she's the one that said that Polk County has all been ignored while the Bush Brothers toured counties rich in Republican votes.

9. Chimp Executive is to visit Lake Wales today with his melon head
brother supposedly to tour orange groves. I hope his "faithful" in Polk take note.
