Television has turned sports/games into nationalistic orgies, complete with flags, red-white-blue glitz, and patriotic songs. Amurekans are all big avid, rabid fans of TEAM USA!!!! Folks, we have been having these 'spectaculars" (bread and circuses) shoved down our throats for three years. I truly don't know if we can break through this insanity. After the election, the "fans" are going to be bullshitted when Cap'n George moves the team out of their city (so to speak), laughs in the face of the fans, and leaves them with the zillion dollar bill for the new stadium they built.
