I've OD'ed on pre-debate blather so I watched the opening chit chat on

Regis and Kelly and The View.

Both shows brought up the Kerry's new "tan" BS but on both shows all the hosts thought the whole thing was stupid, they said he looks good with a tan (neither showed the Sludge picture), and no fake tan comments were made. They just mentioned the football game where he got some sun.

Both shows talked up the debates - how they should be interesting, they are looking forward to watching, and mentioned debate parties.

I was just glad to see the piling on didn't include talk shows during the day.

telling us both that the debates are frauds and breathlessly going over strategy bloviating. And of course, not ten seconds to policy--that takes research and someone can be proven wrong. A crock leading up to a crock.
