I just want to say that that line is an absolute steaming pile of buffallo crap.

Going into IRAQ CREATED MORE TERRORISTS than there were.

A pre-911 mindset? It could have been prevented had a REAL PRESIDENT, who wanted to protect us, been in office. SO that is BS.

Global war on terror DOESN't MEAN ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. what DO YOU MEAN??
You can attack anyone you want? fuck the consequences? on fake intelligence? torture prisoners? NOT IN MY NAME.

I'm so sick of this ridiculous concept that gets shoved down my TV tube everyday. ENough/.

2. Let's do the same for health care...
Pump our hospitals full of sewage so that we can have all the germs concentrated where we can fight them.

17. Hell, some idiot being interviewed said this on NPR, fergodssakes.
And a few more idiots chimed in with equally idiotic RW talking points. It is just dismaying to hear people who are old enough to know better say mindbendingly stupid shit like this.

One moron says he doesn't think we should have gotten into a war with Iraq, and the war doesn't seem to be going too good, but he's still going to vote for *dipshit because -- are you ready for this -- he knows what *dipshit will do, and he doesn't know what Kerry will do!!! WTF!!!!!! How can you even get your mind around such stunning idiocy??

4. BS indeed
And what would we think if some other country had invaded our country to "fight the terrorists over there." These people are so selfish and deluded that it makes me sick. I'm not saying Iraq was a bastion of great things under Saddam Hussein, but he did know enough to keep the wackjob terrorists out of his country.

14. i wish the Reich would make up their minds
if they have one.

What is it, did we invade Iraq to free them and bring democracy or did we invade to turn their country into our own personal battlefield, never mind the innocents that get in the way? This is an argument that makes me crazy, it is just so evil.

19. Simple answer to that:
We have 125,000 troops in Iraq and we can't stop car bombs there--how the hell can they stop car bombs in New York?

It is like saying that we are fighting fires in Florida so we don't have to fight them in California. It is stupid logic.

21. Counter it this way

1. There are terrorists in Iraq because Bush refused the Pentagon's request 3x to bomb Zarquawi's Ansar Al Islam base in Iraq. Now that group is beheading people and killing troops and civilians by the thousands. This once small group of terrorists has swelled their numbers into the thousands.

2. During the Bush term, Al Qaeda has spread to over 60 nations. They are still out there plotting attacks against U.S. interests.

3. Invading a nation, occupying it, and trying to force our cultural and social values onto the Muslim world does not equate to fighting terrorism.

4. We can put a half a million troops into Iraq, but it won't keep a single terrorist from crossing our borders into the United States.

22. Play the Where's Waldo Bin Laden Game with them
Lets play Where's Waldo with Al Qaeda!

Also concerning Iraq and Al Queada, there's this site, from the U.S. Government's own information site:

http://usinfo.state.gov/products/pubs/terrornet/12.htm>http://usinfo.state.gov/products/pubs/terrornet/12.htm

Notice a certain country right in the middle of the map, in which countries in red are where Al Queada is known to be operating at the time (November 2001):

Considering that Iraq is right in the middle of this map, I think I see the Shrubster's genius plan: he's turning iraq into the black hole of war, sucking in terrorists.
