2. What a touching tribute to the forgotten.
"Several thousand soldiers have been wounded in action in Iraq. Thousands of others have been injured in war related events. They have lost arms, legs, eyes, ears, pieces of their brains. Some will spend the rest of their lives in wheelchairs. These soldiers -- all volunteer warriors - have returned home to heal their wounds and consider life, forever scarred and changed."

3. Wish it were not so.
We did our best to stop this we must be successful this time. We must, we owe this to the world to stop this kind of madness. Very difficult to watch.

10. Thanks and respect to her and all the others.
I wish we had a society that cared as it should. My father was a Purple Heart Vet from WWII and our government helped him survive a right elbow that was shattered by a sniper's bullet. It helped him learn a trade that provided an honorable living for him and his family. I hope we can have that kind of gov't. again.

20. She is not voting for Bush.
She is not too hot on Kerry, but will vote for him. She is really a Republican though and is really voting against Bush. She would vote for MaCain or someone moderate like that, but not Bush.

23. She is young. I was a Repub once myself.
Better if she sees the light on her own. If I push too much she'll stay a Repub out of spite. You know how kids are.

17. This is so sad...
As a veteran of the Iraq war, this really saddens me. I have seen my fellow Marines wounded in battle and seeing this brings those terrible memories back. Goddamed those bastards that put us in that situation. They have an ocean of blood on their evil hands.

18. Yes, exactly

They do have "an ocean of blood on their evil hands" and need to be held accountable.

Hell, I don't even have the words to describe what I am feeling anymore. All I know is this war never should have happened and those that sent our forces into harms way for no reason must pay.

All I can really say right now is I'm sorry I can't do more to stop it, I'm trying as hard as I can, in anyway I can, but whatever do it is not enough, they are still dying or being maimed, both physically and emotionally.
