Divide and Conquer
The Electorate can be divided up into many different groups. Many of these groups are motivated to vote because of specific issues of this administration which affect them. Here is a list of some of the groups and the issues involved. Please add anything you can think of:

Business community, investors: see georgesoros.com

Security moms: war in Iraq, further aggression in the ME is making us less safe, not more

Elderly: medicare rates up

GLBT: the Marriage Amendment, Bush's pledge to appoint conservative judges including vacant posts when supreme court justices retire.

Vets: lessening benefits, exposure to depleted uranium other health risks (vaccines?) covered up.

Young men: opposed to the draft, also majority feel U.S. was misled into going into Iraq.

Blacks: voter suppression in the south and elsewhere, Bush ignores black groups

Jews: Bush's family ties to Nazis and funding of Auschwitz, he is supported by the Christian Right and sourthern conservatives

Islamic community: danger of being put on "no fly" list and other harrassments

Christians: many feel the Christian Right does not reflect true Christianity

Libertarians: the Patriot Act

Middle class: Bush is doing nothing to prevent outsourcing since it is "good" for big business

Conservationists: lessening pollution controls, encouraging purchase of fuel inefficient vehicles through tax incentives, will probably develop wilderness and pristine offshore areas for oil

3. Thanks
I'm sure there are many other groups and related issues which I did not list. These just came off the top my of my head.
