Funny story about Debate Watch Party
I'm on the local Democratic Town Committee in a community south of Boston. We are sponsoring 2 Debate Watch Parties (the first 2)which will be held in private homes.

I live in a predominately Republican town. Yes, we have those even in MA. Anyway, the family that so kindly opened their home for the 1st event live in a VERY UPSCALE LA DI DA neighborhood. The homeowner wanted to, as a courtesy, invite her 10 closest neighbors by distance without regard to their political leanings.

Yesterday she took one of these neighbors kids to school and asked her if their family had received their invitation to her/our party. Our name was on the invitation with her address. Yes,the girl answered, my father was very upset.

Why was he upset?

He was yelling- who is this, who lives here at this address? The girl told him. The homeowner asked- why was he upset ? The girl hemmed and hawed -don't know. Are you coming? Umm don't think so.

The homeowner went home and in my town we have a street listing book which list residents and their occupations and ages. She looked him up.

He's a Senior Vice President for Fox in Boston

We might raffle off Outfoxed to aid get out the vote activities
