to hug him. A real grandpa guy who doesn't want to live in a fascist totalitarian state again.

3. Is Soros an American citizen?
Was he born in the USA and able to run for President?

5. Bummer
With his billions he maybe could have pulled off a Ross Perot where Perot failed.

6. George Soros escaped the Nazis
He is a Hungarian Jew who escaped the Nazis. He sees parallels to the political situation in America today and what was going on in Germany in the 1930's. This cat knows what he's talking about.

10. I know where he is coming from...
literally and figuratively. I was born in Hungary, too. Though I am much younger I know his story. Months before Soros started speaking up, I was telling my hubby the exact same things.

7. It Was Delivered to My Hotel Room with Breakfast This Morning.
Seeing this on-line is one thing, but like you, antigop, seeing the actual two page spread in the WSJ was mindblowing.

8. Only one problem - no one will read it.
Too much information for an ad. Should have had headlines with links to a website. Looks like a Kerry answer to a simple question!

George Bush our MASTERdeBATER

11. I disagree
I think you can make different assumptions about interest level and attention span when you have George Soros writing in the WSJ as opposed to Random Product in USA Today.

The purpose of the ad is to split the business Republicans away from the imperialists and fundies that form Bush's core support in the party. I think they've seen all the headlines before and have trained themselves to ingore them, but might give something by Soros a quick read if they don't have to leave their chairs.

I bet people will read it.
