Kerry campaign pictures from day before debates
the last picture is of John Eisenhower, the son of President Eisenhower who endorsed Kerry today. the picture is from 1990 but from the pictures of Ike that i have seen he looks almost exactly like his dad.

3. These photos are magnificent!!
Look at how sweet and tender he is with that child....

I've heard people, even in here, say Kerry's appearance was "scary". One person said their child thought Kerry was scary from watching TV. I think that is total BS. He seems to ADORE kids! That in itself is a precious quality. One, I'd bet, Bush doesn't possess.

The Eisenhower photo is haunting...I'd SWEAR that IS Ike! Wow

GREAT GREAT Photos, very inspiring. Thanks for posting! :D

4. Kids love John
And he loves them. Any time he is with children it's a lovefest. That's just the truth. :)

16. Wow, thanks for the memories!
Dwight Eisenhower was the first president I remember. I thought he looked like what everyone's grandfather should look like. My dad, who was a decorated WWII veteran and served with the First Armored Division in North Africa and Italy, said Ike was the only Repub for whom he had ever voted. LOL, Dad even owned an ugly sport coat very similar to the one Ike is wearing in that picture.

13. I do so wish someone would do
side-by-side pics of the candidates doing the baby-kissing routine.
When mine were little THEIR reactions to people were something I ALWAYS paid attention to. Sometimes I KNEW why. Other times they picked up something I'd never noticed.

JK ALWAYS holds the children securely and engages THEM before he bothers with any onlookers. Babies OBVIOUSLY do NOT trust *dimson, they cry, squirm, or make faces. Someone who has the capability, PLEASE check it out and post what you find. This SECURITY MOM finds it quite telling.

20. Karenina and Diehard...I watch those interactions also
It can be a strong bell weather for the essence of a person..the character of a person. I think John Kerry truly CARES about this country and it's people. I trust his vision for us.

I trust that he will do his level best to protect us.....and all our beautiful children. I trust that he will work as hard as he can to preserve our democracy and level the playing field so that every American has a chance to thrive.

He has the strength, intellect, and diplomacy to lead...AND he obviously has the heart and spirit to LOVE the mission enough to give his all.

Strength and Wisdom are not Opposing Values

7. OK, now that I've seen up-to-date photos of Kerry...
...would someone explain to me how anyone thinks he looks orange?

Where do they come up with this shit? How many two-bit local RW hate radio hosts actually bothered to LOOK at a photo of Kerry to see for themselves whether or not he had a funky-looking tan?

I am continually amazed at the alternate universe the Republicans have built. They're very, very good at it.

Anything could be true. The so-called laws of Nature were nonsense. The law of gravity was nonsense. 'If I wished,' O'Brien had said, 'I could float off this floor like a soap bubble.' Winston worked it out. 'If he thinks he floats off the floor, and if I simultaneously think I see him do it, then the thing happens.'

-George Orwell, 1984
